Biju Toppo is an Indian Award-winning, social-issue documentary filmmaker,〔http://www.telegraphindia.com/1120324/jsp/jharkhand/story_15288877.jsp#.UY4OZVJle9s〕 he has been dedicated to bringing the stories of Indigenous people to film. In addition to filmmaking, Biju also teaches video production at St. Xaviers College in Ranchi, India. 'Akhra' is a pioneering group that has been making films on the indigenous people’s issues since 1995.
